What’s Built-in IC Pixel Flex LED Ribbon?
For a pixel Flex LED ribbon include built-in IC version and external IC version, as the name implies, it’s a built-in IC version use a intelligent control LED light source that the control circuit and single color, CCT, RGB, RGBW or RGBCCT chip are integrated in a package of 5050 or other packaged components, which you can control individually with DC5V or other voltage, and each led as a pixel. For the built-in IC there is many different type with different PWM or Refresh Frequency, different grey levels and different Bit, such as WS2812, WS2813, WS2815, APA102S, HD107S, SK6812, SK9812 etc.

How to choose a Pixel Strip?
1. Choose between different LED density(Pixels density)
You should consider of the density of a pixel strip, we offer differet density for built-in IC version with 30leds/m, 48leds/m, 60leds/m, 72leds/m, 144leds/m, and 30leds/m, 48leds/m, 60leds/m, 72leds/m for external IC version, of course the higher density, the lighting effect will be more better.
2. Choose between different Voltage
You should choose suitable voltage, we offer 5V version, 12V vesion and 24V version, for 5V version with each led as a pixel, and 12V with every 3 leds as a pixel, and 24V version with 6 or 7 leds as a pixel. The colour change due to voltage drop on 5 V pixel tape is more apparent than on a 12V, and a 12V version is more apparent than on a 24V version.
3. Choose between different PWM & refersh frequency
If you use the pixel strips in film industry or camera shooting. You should consider of the PWM frequency and refersh frequency, which will shows if the changing will be with flicker under a camera, when with lower frequency there will be visiable flicker under a camera.
4. Choose between different grey levels(Bit levels)
You should consider of the grey levels, some are with 256 levels(8 bit), but some are higher with 65536levels(16bit).
5. Choose between RGB,RGBW and RGBCCT
RGB Pixel Strip Lights use a 3-in-1 LED chip that combines red, green, and blue colours. RGBW Pixel Strip Lights use a 4-in-1 LED chip that combines red, green, and blue colours. In contrast, RGBW Pixel Strip Lights incorporate a 4-in-1 LED chip with red, green, blue, and an additional white LED. Even an RGB Pixel strip can achieve a near white color, but for a RGBW, which can give a pure white tone. For a RGBCCT version Pixel Strip Lights ise a RGBCCT 5-in-1 LED chip with red, green, blue, white and an additional warm white, which can have a even more white tones by mixing of a white and warm white chips.
6. Choose between different IC type
Nomally for different Pixel Strip lights with different type from different manufacturers, as to choose a suitable pixel strip with different ICs, which is according to the pixel controller you have in hand. But normally for the pixel controller in the market is with many different IC type compatible, that's to say, to choose a pixel strip with mos of the different ICs, which can be controlled by the same pixel controller.
