Unlike pixel strip, 24V High CRI CCT DMX LED Strip 160leds/m is a intelligent LED Ribbon that operates based on the DMX512 protocol, which can be controled directly by DMX512 protocol controller. For the 24V High CRI CCT DMX LED Strip 160leds/m, comes with asynchronous serial control, and for normal pixel LED ribbon is synchronous serial control way. The strip can be controlled directly from a DMX console or controller without the need for a DMX to SPI converter or decoder.The 2 color chips of Tungsten(2800K) and Daylight (6500K) can be mixed. This additional white LED allows the strip to offer a wider range of color combinations and the ability to produce pure white light without mixing the colors, which is critical for certain applications such as task lighting or creating a more natural ambiance.

For special CCT, we also offer with very low CCT flame color, with CCT 2000K(1900-2100K) and 2200K(2100K-2300K), also with all Ra>95, R1-R15 above 90, and TLCI over 95.
For Tungsten color, we offer CCT from 2000K to 3500K, and for standard we make with 2800K or 3200K, with all Ra>95, R1-R15 above 90, and TLCI over 95.


For Daylight color, we offer CCT from 5000K to 10000K, and for standard we make with the most popular CCT for the film, with 5600K or 6500K, with all Ra>95, R1-R15 above 90, and TLCI over 95.

Our 24V High CRI CCT DMX LED Strip 160leds/m comes with thicker 3oz PCB, 12mm width, with better heat heat dissipation and better conductivity, also we use thicker wire with 20AWG 5PIN SM connector, and 18 AWG bare wire for power supplementary, which ensure the low voltage drop and current carrying capacity. Aimed for easier installation, we use 3M 9080HL backadhesive for standard, and also 3M VHB and TESA backadhesive is available for choice. Also for the strip are packed in reels, with 5meter/reel for UL/CUL and CE Standard.

Wires for DMX LED Strip
There are 7 wires in both Input and output side, 5PIN SM connector with 5 wire, (1 black, 1 green, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 white), with 1 red wire and 1 black wire additional. The 5PIN Female SM connector wire is for input end, and 5PIN male connector wire is for output end. The other 2 wire red and black cable are for supplementarr power supply using. The wire function of different color is as below:

How to use a DMX LED Strip?
For a DMX LED Strip, you can use with online mode, that means use the DMX LED Strip directly with computer, and controlled by the DMX software in the computer. Also can be used with offline mold, which means the DHL LED Strip controlled by DMX512 Master controller and sub-controller. Pls see below picture for the wire connection of different mold.

DMX LED Strip is a flexible led strip embedded with a DMX512 IC, which can be directly by controlled via the DMX512 digital communication protocol, a long-standing standard in professional lighting for film lighting effects, stage, architectural, and commercial environments etc. DMX LED strip lights incorporate electronically addressable ICs , allowing every individual LED or group of LEDs to be programmed with precise control over color, brightness, timing, and lighting patterns across the entire strip.
SPI LED Strip uses a synchronous serial, communication protocol to transfer data between integrated circuits such as microcontrollers and peripherals. SPI Led strip Use the SPI protocol to control individual leds of addressable LED strips. After the LED strip directly receives the SPI signal, the color and brightness of the LED are adjusted accordingly.
When first see, you may see the effects of a DMX LED Strip seems the same might can be interchangeable, both can control individul leds or pixel groups, but in fact, there is a various difference between DMX LED Strip and SPI LED Strip.
The basical difference is that DMXLED Light strips can easily connect with other DMX devices allowing you to create lighting effects sequences, synchronized effects, and much more all from a single command center. Alternatively, for SPI LED Light Strips have the capability to easily adapt to different environments. They can connect to different controllers and offer flexibility in terms of programming options, but can not use directly with DMX devices, if need to use with DMX, must use with a DMX to SPI coverter.
For a DMX Strip, there are 5 wires, 2 for power + and GND, 2 for data (DMX+, DMX-), and a special wire for address writting. But a SPI controller normally have 3 or 4 wires, for 3 wires, is 2 for power + and GND, 1 for data. For some SPI strip with 4 wire version, some with 2 for power + and GND, 1 for data, and 1 for clock, and other version is with 2 for power + and GND and 2 for data and standby signal which with break down continue function. But for DMX LED Strip, all with break down continue function.
As for signal transmission , DMX uses parallel signal transmission, strong anti-interference ability, suitable for long-distance transmission, but once a pixel point signal is interrupted, it will not affect the transmission of subsequent signals.
SPI uses series signal to transmit data, which is only suitable for short-distance transmission; Any IC damage will affect the continued transmission of the signal. These LED bars are ideal for short distances, but are not suitable for long distance transmission.
For control method, DMX Strip is Asynchronous serial but for SPI is Synchronous serial. The Data Transmission Speed for DMX LED Strip is around 200kbps-750kbps, but for a SPI strip >800kbps, up to 2 Mbps. Number of Channels, for DMX LED Strip can be up to 512 per universe, but for SPI LED Strip is limited(up to 1024). For signal transmisson distance, for DMX LED Strip is longer up to 500meter, but for SPI LED Strip is shorter, is limited by the signal.
Due to these difference between DMX LED Strip and SPI LED Strip, the applciation of these 2 kinds of strip is also different, according to the requirement of the project.

For single color, one IC with 1 color for 1 channels, and for Bi-colors, 1IC with 2 colors for 2 channels, RGB 1 IC with 3 colors for 3 channels, RGBW, 1 IC with 4 colors for 4 channels, and for RGBCCT, 1 IC with 5 colors for 5 channels.
Yes, for our fault addrressing, you will get our DMX LED Strip, which has the fault addressing of each reel from the fist IC to the last IC with address 1,2,3,4,5...... , but when actual use, you may not use only 1 reels, you might connecting many reels together, in this way, you should rewrite the DMX address for the whole connection.
